Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals with heart failure
  • Develop and implement ambulatory care pathways for heart failure and associated co-morbidities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to heart failure care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to relevant healthcare standards
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Requirements:
  • Be a Registered Nurse/Midwife on the active Register of Nurses and Midwives held by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
  • Have a minimum of 1 year post-registration full-time experience in cardiology care
  • Hold a Level 9 award or higher from a recognized education provider, relevant to the specialist area of cardiology care
  • Demonstrate continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the specialist area
  • Meet the requisite knowledge and ability, including a high standard of suitability and clinical capacity for the proper discharge of the duties of the office
