Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Civil/Structural CAD Technician to produce civil infrastructural drawings related to structural projects.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Structural & Civil building projects within a consultancy, with a strong background in CAD and proficiency in REVIT.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5-15+ years of relevant experience in Structural & Civil building projects within a consultancy.
  • Level 7 or equivalent qualification in CAD and proficiency in REVIT.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in General Arrangement drawing and structural detailing for structural buildings in Reinforced Concrete, precast concrete, Structural Steelwork, masonry, and timber structures.
  • RC detailing and experience with CADS RC is beneficial.
  • Knowledge and experience with below-ground structures such as foundations, basements, and retaining walls.
  • Experience in infrastructural drawings for planning and construction, including roads, surface water drainage, sustainable drainage systems, foul drainage, and drainage detailing.
  • Knowledge of Irish Water standard drainage details.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for producing civil infrastructural drawings related to structural projects, utilizing their expertise in CAD and REVIT. They will work closely with the project team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of drawings.

The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
