Maintenance and Engineering Lead

We are seeking an experienced engineer to lead our maintenance and engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance management plan that meets customer and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a maintenance strategy to ensure optimal equipment efficiency and minimize downtime.
  • Oversee the overall maintenance management of site machinery and equipment, including managing maintenance technician teams.
  • Manage key performance indicators (KPIs) related to engineering and maintenance, including health and safety, equipment efficiency, preventative maintenance, and employee engagement.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing maintenance technician team, ensuring they are adequately trained and integrated into plant operations.
  • Maximize equipment and process efficiencies through proactive and predictive maintenance programs.
Requirements:
  • Trade qualified and/or 3rd level qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience in hygienic maintenance and best-in-class maintenance standards.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma implementation.
  • Advanced organization and planning skills.
  • 5-10 years manufacturing, process, or maintenance experience, preferably in a dairy, food, or beverage background.
  • Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office and SAP or other CMMS systems.
