About the Role

This challenging role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead audit teams in delivering high-quality statutory audits. As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for coordinating global audits through our international network, working closely with senior colleagues and supporting junior team members in developing their skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leading a portfolio of Global Statutory audit clients, including Irish/UK and international audits.
  • Collaborating with clients on planning and closing meetings, discussing business developments, and reviewing audit work papers.
  • Providing guidance and expertise in audit procedures, focusing on complex and specialized issues.
  • Supporting the team by allocating tasks, completing staff allocation, job planning, training needs, and staff issues.
  • Supervising and training junior members to ensure firm standards are maintained throughout the audit process.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have ACA/ACCA qualification and 3 years post-qualification experience in audit. You should also have experience from a top-tier firm, audit experience of large Irish companies or multinational entities, and extensive knowledge of IFRS and Irish GAAP.

You will also need to be commercially aware, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and previous experience with documenting testing, results, and findings in an electronic auditing package.
