As a seasoned mechanical engineer with experience in the water and wastewater industry, you will play a key role in delivering vital resilience and improvement schemes across the South of England.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver work locally and support professional services framework in delivering schemes that enhance water quality, reduce overflows, and boost biodiversity.
  • Identify and design nature-based solutions to improve water quality and spearhead best practices in hydraulic modelling, water recycling, and digital innovation.
  • Liaise with project managers, technical leaders, design engineers, clients, supply chain partners, contractors, planners, and other stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes for the projects and community.
About You:
  • You will be a Mechanical Engineer with design experience in the water industry and be working toward (or already achieved) Chartership with IMech E.
  • You will be experienced in producing technical specifications, pump sizing calculations, schedules, reports, and familiar with collaborative reviews and designs of solutions.
  • You will understand how water and wastewater treatment processes operate and be experienced in assessing existing site infrastructure to develop and deliver the mechanical design.
