Job Title:

R&D Tax Specialist

About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and evaluating eligible Irish tax credits, grants, and incentive schemes.
  • You will support business units in structuring projects to meet incentive eligibility criteria.
  • As an internal subject matter expert on R&D tax credits, KDB, and other innovation-related tax regimes, you will provide guidance and advice to stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate financial data and models to determine the impact of tax reliefs and grant funding on business planning.
  • Track and forecast tax credit claims and grant receipts across various projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Legal, Grant Coordinators, and Government Affairs.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Economics, or related field.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in financial analysis or tax advisory with a proven understanding of Irish tax incentives.
  • In-depth knowledge of Revenue's R&D tax credit regime, Knowledge Development Box (KDB), and capital allowances.
