Job Description

As a Senior MES Technology Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting the development and implementation of our Manufacturing Execution System (MES) electronic batch records and logbook. You will deploy existing systems, analyze information, design, program, and implement new systems or enhancements to meet business needs.

You will create, modify, and/or enhance business applications and/or systems to satisfy business information demands. This includes analyzing business processes and needs to recommend or implement changes to systems and/or procedures, performing user requests for special support and/or extracting data, designing, programming, and implementing new systems, reports, screens, and/or procedures, and training users on these new systems and/or changes.

You will also identify, recommend, and implement application software solutions (custom or COTS). This involves working in all phases of the systems development cycle (define, design, and deliver solution) according to company and department guidelines, preparing project justification, scope, and timeline, ensuring project compliance with these commitments, coordinating or performing technical testing and installation with appropriate users and systems personnel, providing training, documentation, and post-implementation support to users of the new application and/or systems, and ensuring compliance with Computer Systems Validation policies, standards, procedures, and/or practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Level 8 or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing, preferred in pharmaceutical or other regulated industries.
