Job Overview:

We are seeking a talented Data Systems Specialist to design, configure, and support real-time data infrastructure projects using the PI System.

The successful candidate will have experience with AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System administration and development, as well as proficiency in PI AF, PI Vision, PI Interfaces, and PI Data Archive. Knowledge of industrial communication protocols such as OPC and Modbus is also essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement PI System components
  • Integrate PI System with SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and other OT/IT systems
  • Develop PI AF models and analytics to support business needs
  • Build and deploy PI Vision dashboards for operations and management
  • Perform system upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting of PI infrastructure
  • Ensure data governance, security, and quality standards are met
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into solutions
  • Provide training and documentation for users and support staff

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 8+ years' experience with AVEVA/OSIsoft PI System administration and development
  • Proficiency in PI AF, PI Vision, PI Interfaces, and PI Data Archive
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC, Modbus)
  • Experience in regulated pharmaceutical environments

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AVEVA PI System certifications are a strong advantage
  • Experience with analytics platforms or data historians
