We are seeking a highly motivated Accommodation Assistant to join our team. As an Accommodation Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our guests by maintaining the highest standard of cleanliness throughout our hotel.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional service to join our team as an Accommodation Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness in our guest bedrooms and public areas, undertaking regular deep cleaning tasks, and restocking and maintaining trolleys on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a thorough knowledge and understanding of all standards of performance and delivery within the accommodation department.
- Participate in departmental training to ensure you are up-to-date with the latest procedures and best practices.
- Work collaboratively as part of the Accommodation Team to deliver exceptional results.
- Clean guest bedrooms and bathrooms to an excellent standard, paying attention to detail and ensuring that all checklists are completed to a high standard.
- Clean public areas to an excellent standard, including reception, corridors, and lounges.
- Undertake regular deep cleaning tasks, such as cleaning ovens and refrigerators, and replacing towels and linen.
- Restock and maintain trolleys on a daily basis, ensuring that they are fully equipped with essentials such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning supplies.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Previous hotel cleaning/housekeeping experience.
- A strong desire to work as part of a team and contribute to the success of the hotel.
- The ability to maintain a professional image through appearance at all times.
- Energetic and customer-focused attitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
