MEP Estimator Position Overview

Carron + Walsh is seeking an experienced MEP estimator to join our team. As a key member of our project delivery team, the successful candidate will undertake estimating duties independently and report to our management team.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Preparation of development budgets and feasibility appraisals">
  • Implementation of value management and value engineering">
  • Preparation of estimates including system take-offs, material take-offs (MTO) and building-up rates from first principles for all MEP installations">
  • Preparing financial reports and cash flow forecasts">
  • Implementation of whole life cycle and carbon assessment and analysis">
  • Operation of Carron + Walsh cost management system">
  • Compliance with quality, environmental and health & safety management systems">

Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a Level 9 Postgraduate Certificate in MEP Quantity Surveying or BEng in MEP Engineering and 3+ years' experience in MEP estimating in a consultancy or contracting environment.
