About this Role

We are seeking an ambitious and organized Junior Accountant to join our dynamic Financial Reporting Team in the Central Office at an exciting time of growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monthly Management Accounts: Prepare accurate and timely management accounts for central management and holding companies.
  • Liaison and Analysis: Liaise with budget holders around reforecasting for central departments and prepare variance analysis.
  • Budget Process: Assist with the preparation of the Group's annual budget process.
  • Period-End Routines: Responsible for period-end routines and journal entries for a number of management and holding companies.
  • Account Reconciliation: Reconcile management accounts to financial accounts.
  • Balance Sheet Integrity: Support balance sheet integrity through clear monthly reconciliations.
  • Audit Compliance: Complete interim and year-end audit routines in accordance with tight deadlines, acting as a point of contact for auditor queries in respective areas of responsibility.
  • Statutory Accounts: Support the production of statutory accounts for individual entities.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver key projects within the Financial Reporting Team.
Requirements

  • Part-Qualified Accountant: Part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with a focus on completing professional exams.
