**Job Description:**

CPL are working with one of our key client partners to help them with sourcing for a critical hire in their business. The company is looking to recruit a Site Engineering Manager for their Pharma production in Dublin 13.

The role is an on-site position in their facility, open due to internal promotion. Reporting directly to the site Engineering Director and working closely with numerous stakeholders across the entire site, this is a full-time permanent job opportunity to join a heritage brand name in the pharma manufacturing industry.

You will be a key member of the site Leadership team and managing and leading a team of high-performing engineering and craft personnel.

The Engineering Manager will lead a team of direct reports as well as contractors and 3rd party service supply providers. You will have responsibility for all aspects of Engineering support in the manufacturing of drug product including all Utilities, Facilities, Projects, CAPEX, Engineering and Site Security for the site.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Leading/managing key activities within the Engineering team.
  • Managing multiple projects and tasks to address factory Engineering obsolescence including equipment priority, project management to meet agreed schedules.
  • Maintaining the validated state of the Engineering systems and carrying out control system revalidation.
  • Continuously improving department processes and advancing standardization related to controls technology and programming and ensuring Engineering systems comply with regulatory guidelines.
  • Coordinating troubleshooting of high-speed filling, assembly, and packaging equipment.
  • Managing training and development of personnel on specific aspects of Engineering Systems.
  • Leading and supporting quality progress to Triage events, investigating and addressing corrective actions.
  • Supporting both internal and external regulatory audits and developing remediation plans.
  • Defining Engineering teams' governance and procedure.
  • Managing disaster recovery process and execution of system back-ups at defined intervals as part of preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Collaborating with other business functions to understand how Engineering can improve workflow.
  • Leading OT/IT confluence on relevant automated systems.
