Position: Engineering Manager Pharma
Location: Dublin 13
Cpl are working with one of our key client partners to help them with sourcing for a critical hire in their business.
Due to continued growth and additions to their existing product portfolio, they are looking to recruit a Site Engineering Manager for their Pharma production in Dublin 13.
The role is an on-site role in their facility and it's open because of internal promotion.
Reporting directly to the site Engineering Director and working closely with numerous stakeholders across the entire site, this is a full-time permanent job opportunity to join a heritage brand name in the pharma manufacturing industry.
You will be a key member of the site Leadership team and managing and leading a team of high performing engineering and craft personnel.
The Engineering Manager will lead a team of direct reports as well as contractors and 3rd party service supply providers.
You will have responsibility for all aspects of Engineering support in the manufacturing of drug products including all Engineering Support, Utilities, Facilities, Projects, CAPEX, Engineering, and Site Security for the site.
The following is a non-exhaustive list expressing the main responsibilities, duties, and tasks associated with the role:
You will be responsible for leading/managing key activities within the Engineering team.You will be required to manage multiple projects and tasks to address factory Engineering obsolescence including equipment priority and project management to meet agreed schedules.The Engineering Manager will retain ownership for maintaining the validated state of the Engineering systems and for carrying out control system revalidation.Focus and strive to continuously improve department processes and advance standardization related to controls technology and programming while ensuring Engineering systems comply with regulatory guidelines.You will coordinate troubleshooting of high-speed filling, assembly, and packaging equipment.Have a proven ability to manage training and development of personnel on specific aspects of Engineering Systems.You will lead and support quality progress to Triage events, investigate and address corrective actions.Support both internal and external regulatory audits and develop remediation plans.Define Engineering teams' governance and procedure.Manage disaster recovery process and execution of system backups at defined intervals as part of preventative maintenance procedures.Collaborate with other business functions to understand how Engineering can improve workflow.Lead OT/IT confluence on relevant automated systems.Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Ideally 8 or more years of relevant experience leading high performing engineering teams.A strong inspirational leader, with the ability to lead a team of Engineering Engineers/technicians from a technical, project, and people leadership perspective.A problem solver right to solution level, with a structured approach including, using the team, completing all associated planning and design validation activity required to achieve the desired outcome.Excellent verbal communication skills with an ability to work with various stakeholders of all levels and within multidisciplinary teams.Organizational skills to map out projects, prioritize workload and keep accurate documentation.Understanding of Engineering system implementation and validation life cycle along with an understanding of the product quality impact of changes.If the role is of potential interest and you meet the criteria here, please send me your most up-to-date CV to ****** and I'll review in confidence and reply to you within 24 hours of receipt of your CV.
