The Limerick Hospital seeks skilled theatre and endoscopy nurses to enhance their clinical team.

With a focus on delivering exceptional surgical services across various specialties, including General Surgery, Ophthalmology, Gynaecology, Endoscopy, ENT, Orthopaedics, Urology, Vascular Surgery, Oral and Maxillo Facial surgery, Plastics, and Pain Medicine, the hospital offers a dynamic work environment.

As a theatre and endoscopy nurse, your primary responsibilities will include ensuring high standards of patient care, effective communication with patients and families, and maintaining accurate patient records.

You will collaborate with a multi-disciplinary clinical team in a self-motivated and hardworking environment.

  • Maintain high standards of patient care at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and their families.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation.
  • Adhere to and support the hospital's Mission and Values.
Essential Qualifications
  • Registration in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI.
  • A minimum of 12 months' recent acute hospital experience.
  • Prior experience working in a theatre setting is desirable.
  • Demonstrated commitment to Quality and Patient Safety.
  • Excellent clinical and communication skills.
