Transport Operative

We are seeking experienced transport operatives to join our team in Galway.
Main Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a Class D public service vehicle along scheduled routes and ensure timely delivery of passengers.
- Adapt to a rotating shift schedule, working early, late, split and night/weekend shifts as required.
- Deliver exceptional customer service, assist passengers and handle queries professionally.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, transport regulations and required documentation.
- Perform pre and post-shift vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
- Represent the organisation positively and uphold its reputation.
Shift Pattern:
- A flexible shift schedule will be provided, likely on a multi-week rota, covering early starts, late finishes, night shifts and split shifts.
- Early shift: 04:35 - 09:59
- Middle shift: 10:00 - 13:59
- Late shift: 14:00 onwards
Requirements:
- Full, clean Irish Class D driving licence
- Digital Tachograph card
- Valid Driver CPC for public service vehicles
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work unsocial hours, weekends, nights and public holidays as required.
Training:
- Comprehensive training program including route familiarisation, customer care and safety protocols, tachograph and CPC training.
