Embedded Hardware Design Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Embedded Hardware Design Specialist to join our team in Cork, Ireland. As a key member of our GPU development team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-performance hardware components.

Your primary focus will be on micro-architecting and designing RTL for blocks and modules of our GPU architecture across shader processing, graphics pipelines, memory subsystems, and interconnects. You will also be tasked with optimizing hardware design for better performance, power, and cost.

In addition to your technical expertise, you will play a vital role in evaluating the feasibility of complex algorithms and requirements, developing micro-architecture and specifications for new generation designs, and providing essential verification and debugging activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Verilog/SystemVerilog design, Synopsys synthesis, low-power design, test plan development, and coverage-based design verification.
  • Strong understanding of Computer Architecture, Computer Arithmetic, Low Power Design, C/C++/Python programming languages, and Graphics APIs (OpenGL, Vulkan, Direct3D).
  • Demonstrated experience in designing RTL for GPU, CPU, DSP, Machine-Learning, cache, controller, video, display, camera blocks in ASIC.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a collaborative team.
