Senior Electronic Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electronic Design Engineer to contribute to our Cork-based team.

  • Design and develop innovative hardware solutions for servo-drive products, focusing on analog, digital, and power electronics.
  • Ensure product designs meet performance specifications, cost targets, regulatory standards, and manufacturability requirements.
  • Lead the hardware life cycle, encompassing requirements definition, architectural design, implementation, integration, and testing within a collaborative multi-site development environment.
  • Participate in critical design reviews and business reviews as required.
  • Work towards achieving defined project goals/milestones within tight schedules.
  • Support a reasonable level of travel, including on-site customer support.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronics / Electrical Engineering.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in a relevant role.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills, problem identification, analysis, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Results-driven with a high degree of accountability, commitment, and responsibility.
  • Ability to produce high-quality results under tight time constraints.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact with senior customers, management, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
