Assembling Electronic Motor Control Solutions

Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of electronic motor control solutions based in Cork on a permanent contract. This role will involve working Monday-Friday, with the opportunity to gain experience in assembly and operate assembly equipment required to complete specified tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare components for manual assembly.
  • Operate PCB cleaning and baking equipment.
  • Use Torque tools for assembly of specific fasteners.
  • Perform manual assembly of PCBs and some mechanical hardware to formal assembly procedures and process procedures.
  • Typical components handled will be printed circuit cards and electronic components.
  • Application of adhesives and conformal coatings.
  • Prototype assembly work under engineering control.
  • Set up equipment and carry out process related measurements as required.
  • Perform operator machine maintenance as specified.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of commitment to both quality and production goals.
  • Positive, flexible approach with good interpersonal skills.
  • A minimum of 2-3 years relevant experience/knowledge of assembly functions would be preferable.
  • Detail-oriented.
