Electronics Development Role

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to work on new product introduction projects and improve manufacturing efficiency in our Galway based electronics factory.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with customers to enhance manufacturability of new products and deliver them on schedule.
  2. Identify areas for continuous improvement aligned with business objectives and implement cost reduction initiatives.
  3. Develop assembly documentation and work instructions.
  4. Train production staff on assembly procedures.
  5. Support the maintenance team in designing routine maintenance tasks for assembly line equipment, performing critical engineering tasks as needed.
  6. Provide technical assistance to the production team.
  7. Implement process controls like FMEA and control plans within the change management process.

Requirements

  • Honours degree or higher in Electronics Engineering.
  • At least 5 years' experience in electronic engineering manufacturing.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot electronic issues.
  • Ability to read and understand electronic circuit designs and schematics.
  • Strong multitasking and project management skills.
