A key role for an Electronics Specialist to join a leading electronics manufacturing company based in Cork.

Key Responsibilities
  • The Electronics Specialist will use schematics, layout drawings, assembly drawings, procedures and specifications to set up and test electronic products.
  • The Electronics Specialist will utilize various test equipment such as digital multi-meters, power supplies, oscilloscopes, function generators, ESS chambers and vibration tables for testing and troubleshooting.
  • Strong knowledge of electronics components and circuitry, including analogue, digital and power circuits to test and debug electronic assemblies and systems consisting of passive components to FPGA's and microprocessors.
  • Test and debug of electronic motor controllers according to established procedures.
  • Perform failure analysis for production and returned assemblies and systems and provide feedback to support teams for process improvements.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and develop solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Must hold a minimum Level 6 qualification in Electronics Engineering or related discipline.
  • 2+ years of relevant industry experience, preferably in an ISO9001 or equivalent regulated environment.
  • Experience and/or qualifications in Lean is advantageous.
