Electronic Test Technician Job Overview

This is a permanent contract, based in Cork. The successful candidate will be working on a variety of electronic PCB Assemblies and Systems, testing and debugging analogue, digital, power circuitry, passive components, FPGA's and microprocessors.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. To set up and test electronic products using schematics, layout drawings, assembly drawings, procedures and specifications.
  2. To conduct thorough diagnostic analysis for production and returned assemblies and systems and provide feedback to support teams for process improvements.
  3. To develop solutions that improve the performance and reliability of electronic motor controllers.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of electronics components and circuitry.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to use test equipment such as Digital Multi-Meter's, Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes, Function Generators, ESS Chambers and vibration tables for test and troubleshooting.
