Job Description:">

We are seeking a skilled Community Stoma Care Nurse to provide professional stoma care services to patients in the community based on a defined referral pathway.

The successful candidate will receive patient referrals from hospital and community healthcare professionals, provide required feedback, maintain accurate clinical records, deliver teaching/training for carers, family and health care professionals, keep up-to-date with relevant products available within the Irish market, provide feedback to marketing and research and development, and undertake continuous personal development.

">Required Skills and Qualifications:">
  • Registered Nurse Qualification
  • Registered with INMO
  • Previous experience working as a Community Stoma Care Nurse
  • Stoma or colorectal background
  • Full clean driving licence and access to a car
  • IT skills including Excel
  • Flexibility to meet patient and service needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work autonomously, be dynamic and forward thinking
  • Comfortable working in the community often at patient's home
  • Able to work remotely as part of a dispersed team
  • Able to accommodate administrative tasks and small product stock at home
