Environmental Client Account Manager Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill a key position in our wastewater treatment services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building relationships with customers through on-site visits and needs analysis.
  • Developing technical proposals for clients, advising on suitable products and services.
  • Creating process optimisation surveys for clients, providing recommendations based on their treatment plant needs.
  • Preparing quotes for products and services offered to our customers.
  • Managing and soliciting quotes from suppliers.
  • Coordinating stock levels across product lines to ensure necessary stock is available for clients.
  • Proactively managing relationships with existing clients and developing new business opportunities through cross-selling and upselling.
  • Staying up-to-date with new products and technologies.
  • Maintaining our customer database and completing reports as directed.
  • Attending industry events and trade shows to promote our company and network with potential clients.
  • Processing purchase requests for customers according to our team processes.
  • Administrative outputs resulting from weekly sales meetings.
  • Managing import and export processes according to our processes.
  • Preparing tender documentation for clients.
  • Booking travel and accommodation for team members.
Requirements:
  • A 3rd level qualification in Industrial Chemistry, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or Microbiology.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong technical writing skills with attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of wastewater treatment technologies and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • A full clean driving license with access to own vehicle.
  • High level of computer literacy/IT skills.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce database systems would be advantageous.
