Job Role

The IT Services Resilience Manager is a critical role that requires expertise in IT disaster recovery, resilience strategies, and incident management. As a key member of our Information Systems department, you will be responsible for enhancing our IT disaster recovery infrastructure, backups, and resiliency processes.

Your primary objectives will include coordinating and executing departmental DR tests, continuously improving IT services resilience, and developing IT DR plans to ensure service availability and swift recovery. You will also be responsible for managing critical incidents to minimize business impact, ensuring rapid resolution, and leading root-cause analysis and problem management.

In addition, you will develop IT services DR dashboards, KPIs, reports for transparency and management oversight, and act as project manager for DR-related initiatives. Compliance with standards and regulations, including DORA, will be your responsibility, and you will maintain audit-ready documentation. Regular updates will be provided to senior management on the status of DORA compliance and IT resiliency activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enhance IT disaster recovery infrastructure, backups, and resiliency processes
  • Coordinate and execute departmental DR tests
  • Continuously improve IT services resilience and architecture
  • Develop IT DR plans to ensure service availability and swift recovery
  • Manage critical incidents to minimize business impact
  • Lead root-cause analysis and problem management
  • Develop IT services DR dashboards, KPIs, reports
  • Act as project manager for DR-related initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations, including DORA
Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need a higher-level qualification and at least eight years of relevant work experience in BCM resilience, disaster recovery, and IT resilience strategies. A strong understanding of RPO, RTO, SLA/OLA mechanisms, knowledge of ITIL, DORA, and Asset Management principles is essential.

Excellent day-to-day knowledge of the Davy ICT Service Catalogue, Microsoft Office product suite, and problem-solving skills are also required. Strong communication and schedule management skills are essential, along with the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
