Job Title

The ideal candidate for this role will have the opportunity to work with a technical engineering firm that collaborates with globally recognised companies in the Food & Beverage and Pharmaceutical industries.

  • Review and analyse client specifications/P & ID's to ensure high-quality, technical process solutions are delivered to customers.
  • Work closely with suppliers to guarantee project equipment and components satisfy customers' expectations.
  • Generate and maintain project databases and control project documentation.
  • Execute Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and commissioning support for projects.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Assist with incoming inspections of project equipment.
  • Focus on the commercial impact of project decisions.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and managing any risks to the project's schedule or commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Working directly with program managers (customers) to ensure their project installation phase meets agreed goals in terms of cost, quality, and delivery.
  • Providing regular reports on process deliverable status as it progresses.
  • Conducting quality inspections of equipment and coordinating with Automation and Electrical subcontractors.
  • Preparing snag lists and conducting site walks during the construction phase.
Qualifications
  • Mechanical or Project Engineering degree or equivalent.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate at all organisational levels.
  • Self-confidence, maturity, discipline, and a commercial approach to establish credibility within the business.
  • Proactive, results-focused, and energetic individual with a commitment to organisation and initiative.
  • Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills and commitment to performance improvements.
