Job Overview

The Corporate Audit Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the compliance and efficiency of private sector audit clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a diverse portfolio of private sector audit clients, maintaining adherence to industry standards and delivering exceptional results.
  • Nurture strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for value addition.
  • Identify critical audit risks and implement tailored strategies to effectively mitigate them.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop audit teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, including proposals, client pitches, and strategic growth opportunities.
  • Oversee financial performance of engagements, managing budgets, billing, and profitability with precision.
Essential Qualifications:
  • ACA and/or ACCA qualified, possessing a solid technical foundation in audit standards and financial reporting.
  • Proven experience in private sector audit, including client portfolio management and end-to-end audit services delivery.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a track record of building and maintaining trusted client relationships.
  • Skilled in identifying audit risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Excellent organisational abilities, capable of managing multiple engagements and competing priorities efficiently.
  • Leadership and mentoring experience, with a focus on developing and supporting junior team members.
  • Commercially astute, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and contribute to business development.
