Catering Assistant Role

As a catering assistant in the healthcare industry, you will be part of a dedicated team that provides excellent patient care through our food services. We strive to deliver high-quality meals and exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Setup and maintenance of catering units and wards for daily service
  • Food preparation and serving at ward level
  • Probing food and recording temperatures
  • Following dietary requirements and HACCP procedures
  • Day-to-day cleaning of catering units and kitchens
  • Taking patients' orders and uploading into the system
Requirements:
  • At least three years' experience working in a hospital/nursing home catering setting or coming from a high-volume catering commercial background
  • Excellent English both written and verbal
  • Ability to adapt to working in new healthcare environments
  • Two working references with a minimum of two years each provided
  • Valid work permits to work full-time in Ireland with no restrictions
  • Flexibility with working hours
