Job Title: Support Worker

Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to individuals in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting customers with daily tasks such as personal care, medication management, and light housekeeping.
  • Assisting with mobility and exercise, promoting independence and well-being.
  • Providing emotional support and companionship, building strong relationships with customers.
Requirements:
  • QQI Level 5 Healthcare Award or equivalent qualification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Basic patient care skills, including bathing, dressing, and feeding.
Additional Training:
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection training.
  • GDPR and Data Protection awareness.
  • Basic Life Support and First Aid training.
Skills and Qualities:
  • Empathy and compassion, with the ability to understand and respond to emotional needs.
  • Effective time management and task prioritization, with a focus on delivering high-quality customer care.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
