Role Overview

We are seeking a Coastal and Marine Civil Engineer with extensive experience in project management, design, and planning. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coastal/marine engineering projects, including port facilities, coastal flood risk assessment, and hydrodynamic modeling.

Responsibilities:

  • Minimum of 8 to 15 years post-graduate experience in marine civil engineering.
  • Experience in the design and project management of coastal/marine engineering projects from inception to completion.
  • Expertise in the design and planning of large-scale port facilities, including quay walls, jetties, dolphins, and container pavements.
  • Experience in coastal flood risk assessment, hydrodynamic modeling, and/or coastal protection would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge of government/public contracts and other frameworks such as NEC and FIDIC is essential.
  • Current experience of leading, managing, and running port/marine projects, preferably in the consultancy sector.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of current codes of practice and design standards.
  • Proactive, good communicator, and ability to lead others in a multi-disciplinary project team.
  • Excellent level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, and good written and oral communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Engineers with at least 8 years' experience.
