Intellectual Disability Support Worker

Provide exceptional care to service users with intellectual disabilities, enabling them to live life to the fullest.
The role involves evaluating and meeting the needs of service users, teaching daily living and social skills through activities, maintaining positive relationships, participating in activities and completing household tasks, keeping accurate records of service user documentation, and performing other duties as required.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate and meet the needs of service users.
- Teach daily living and social skills through activities.
- Maintain positive relationships with service users.
- Participate in activities and complete household tasks.
- Keep accurate records of service user documentation.
- A degree in Applied Social Studies/Social Care or relevant qualification, or be eligible for CORU registration or be CORU Registered.
- Experience working with adults/children with intellectual disabilities.
- The ability to work independently and supervise service users/staff in a residential setting.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- A full manual driving license.
