Project Lead for Business Integration is sought after to oversee and deliver a business integration project in the UK Insurance Retail division.

This role involves close collaboration with impacted business units, individuals in our retail insurance division, and enterprise solutions functions.

The project will be executed at speed, requiring skills and intellect to understand details, engage senior stakeholders, and adapt communication styles to meet diverse needs.

Responsibilities include driving project delivery and coordinating work with third-party vendors.

This is a hybrid working role and occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Define project approach, resource requirements, and estimate delivery timelines in line with the Change Management Framework.
  • Agree on project scope, outputs, timescale, quality, cost, and benefits to ensure business requirements are clearly articulated and understood.
  • Establish and manage project structure, roles, and teams for efficient and effective delivery.
  • Produce RAID logs and manage mitigation activities, including ongoing risk assessment.
  • Collaborate with IT and external application vendors to integrate their costs, activities, and deliverables within the overall project scope.
  • Create high-level and detailed documents to effectively communicate with the project team, peers, and stakeholders.
  • Maintain discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
About You
  • Previous experience in project management, particularly in insurance business integration or change projects, is essential.
  • Excellent knowledge of business improvement and change management methodologies is required.
  • Ability to negotiate, persuade, and influence business decisions across all stakeholder groups is necessary.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills, able to set priorities and monitor progress under timeline pressure.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, Prince 2, or MSP) would be beneficial.
  • Attention to detail and analytical approach, able to analyze findings and make trusted recommendations.
  • High level of discretion and empathy is required.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK with potential client site travel required.
