Reliability Specialist Job Description

As a Reliability Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our plant, process, and equipment.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of engineering principles and be able to develop effective solutions to prevent repetitive failures and costly equipment problems.

  • Develops comprehensive engineering solutions to prevent equipment failure and reduce maintenance work.
  • Maintains Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) programs, including vibration analysis, thermography, and predictive maintenance.
  • Analyses equipment history within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to optimize maintenance efforts and minimize regulatory risks.
  • Reduces maintenance work and improves efficiency through optimized maintenance scheduling and resource allocation.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
  • Engineering degree qualification, preferably in mechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Extensive professional experience in a similar role in an industrial environment or within a specialized consultancy.
  • Strong proven experience working in a reliability-focused role.
  • Knowledge of CMMS systems is highly desirable.
