About this role

This is a critical position in our operations, responsible for maintaining the integrity of our water and wastewater systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our treatment plants, distribution networks, and other equipment.

This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and conducting repairs as needed.

Additionally, you will be responsible for data capture and reporting, ensuring that all relevant information is accurately recorded and reported.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on water and wastewater treatment plants, distribution networks, and other equipment.
  • Troubleshoot issues and conduct repairs as needed.
  • Capture and report data on equipment performance, maintenance activities, and other relevant metrics.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure seamless operation of our systems.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A QQI Level 6 Advanced Certificate in one of the following disciplines: Craft of Electrical Instrumentation, Craft of Instrumentation, Craft of Mechanical Automation and Maintenance Fitting, Craft of Plumber, Craft of Electrical, Craft of Construction Plant Fitting, or Craft of Heavy Vehicle Mechanics.
  • At least two years' experience in a related field.
  • Excellent technical skills and knowledge of pumps, motors, valves, pipes, and other equipment.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
