Data Centre Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Regulatory Risk Manager to manage our data centre infrastructure and facilities. This role involves ensuring operations procedure, documentations, and records are in place to meet relevant certification and operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage compliance in data centre related ISO accreditation and the Information Security Management System, working alongside IT support vendors, group functions, and compliance support vendors IT Governance.
- Point of contact for Health and Safety across all sites, collaborating with Health and Safety vendors and conducting training for the Operations team. Pursue ISO accreditation for K2 data centres.
- Support building and maintaining the Information Security Management System and preparation for ISO accreditation and other audits.
- Monitor and report environmental, recycling waste management reporting for sustainability, and provide support during audits.
- Collaborate with Facilities Lead for environmental audits.
- Oversee IT procurement, IT licensing, support licensing, and asset management across multiple data centre sites.
- Work with the Operations team, K2 Finance, and customers on Operations budgets, billing, and customer billing.
- Manage Planned Preventative maintenance and the Computer Aided Facility Management System, generating tickets for the Operations team.
- Collaborate with Security along with the Facility Lead on physical access to the facilities by our Security vendor.
- Assist with Corporate Social Responsibility projects, increasing involvement going forward.
- Coordinate internal and external training schedules, including EHS & Technical.
- Evaluate and maintain EHS policy documents and processes within the facility.
- Support asset management and life cycle management of IT equipment, working alongside Ops IT Vendor and Corporate IT support.
- Collaborate with the Finance team on PO, Invoicing, and budgeting.
- Develop and implement a systemic planned preventative maintenance (PPM) review process with stakeholder support to ensure effectiveness.
- Issue PPMs for all maintenance activities and monitor performance through the Building Facilities Ticket system.
- Create reports from the BMS Ticketing System and monitoring systems as required.
- Become a subject matter expert on the Building Facilities Ticket system application.
- Contribute to monitoring and reporting physical security, working alongside security vendors.
- Manage ad-hoc projects assigned by senior management.
- Prepare reports by collating, analyzing, and summarizing data, making recommendations for improvement.
- Enhance efficiencies and reduce potential failure scenarios through collaboration with other departments.
Working Environment:

Skills Set and Qualifications Requirements:
- Diploma or qualified certification.
- 3-5 years' experience in a Data Centre environment, preferred.
- Technical knowledge of IT security and networking would be advantageous.
- Excellent document control and writing/editing policies.
- Strong understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety requirements.
- Project planning, change management, and time management capabilities are crucial.
- Judgement and decision-making skills are vital.
- Strong organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
- Experience leading ISO27001, ISO45001, ISO14001 will be preferred.
- Familiarity with Soc 2 Type 2 an advantage.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to use computer applications effectively.
- Innovative thinking is valued.
- Experience managing people is desired.
