We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team at Killashee Hotel in Tn Ireland. As a key member of our Senior Management Team, this leadership role requires strong expertise in financial operations, including cost control and payroll management.

The Financial Controller will be responsible for preparing and managing financial statements, developing and overseeing budgeting processes, and leading internal controls and policy development. This role requires a proven track record of achieving targets and delivering results, as well as excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

Job Description:

Financial Operations

Prepare and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, adhering to financial regulations and maintaining financial integrity.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and oversee budgeting processes, ensuring alignment with strategic and operational goals.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget and make adjustments as necessary.

Internal Controls & Policies:

  • Develop and implement robust financial policies, procedures, and internal controls to maintain financial integrity.

Strategic Financial Planning:

  • Provide financial insights and analysis to support business growth, cost control, and overall performance improvement.

Cash Flow & Risk Management:

  • Cash flow management, ensuring financial stability and sustainability through effective cash flow management and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a financial management role within the hospitality or service industry in Ireland.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) is preferred.
  • Strong expertise in cost control and payroll management, with a high level of integrity and ethical standards.
