Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Café Assistant.

The successful candidate will provide exceptional levels of service, handle cash transactions, and maintain a clean and well-presented cafe environment.

  • Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for customers.
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions, manage till operations, and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and serve high-quality beverages, including specialty coffees, and provide recommendations to customers.
  • Maintain a clean and hygienic environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assist with food orders, maintaining a safe and efficient service.
  • Handle customer complaints in a professional manner, escalating issues to management if necessary.
Requirements
  • Previous hospitality experience is essential, preferably 2 years or more.
  • Barista training and knowledge of coffee preparation methods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work under pressure and multitask.
  • Comfortable working with members of the public, initiating conversations and providing a welcoming atmosphere.
  • Able to learn quickly, take instructions, and work independently, supporting team members when needed.
  • Effective time management, organization, and discipline, with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Knowledge of cash handling procedures and accuracy with financial transactions.
  • High standards of personal presentation and appearance, with excellent articulation skills.
