Automation Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking an Automation Engineer to play a key role in the successful delivery of a new state-of-the-art facility.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS system, Emerson DeltaV CHARMs Remote I/O system, and Emerson DeltaV Control Studio. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work as part of a wider team are also essential.

About the Role

The Automation Engineer will be responsible for supporting the I&C team in the execution of loop check and CM SAT activities, trouble-shooting issues as they arise in the field, and proposing solutions and preparing Automation Change Packs to remedy issues.

Additionally, the successful candidate will assist with configuration of networked equipment such as Variable Frequency Drives, DOL starters, Weigh Scales (Ethernet/IP network).

Requirements
  • Hands-on experience of Emerson DeltaV DCS system
  • Hands-on experience of Emerson DeltaV CHARMs Remote I/O system
  • Hands-on experience of Emerson DeltaV Control Studio
  • Strong problem-solving/trouble-shooting skills
  • Ability to work as part of a wider team
