Deputy General Hotel Operations Manager

Job Opportunity: Deputy General Manager As a seasoned hotel operations professional, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day hotel operations to ensure all departments are working efficiently and effectively. You will lead by example, communicating with department managers to ensure they meet management responsibilities and standards. Your ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly will be invaluable in this role. A key aspect of your job will be coordinating large events, working closely with the general manager to review personnel rosters and control payroll. You will also identify training needs and work with HR to maintain skills and training standards. In addition to these responsibilities, you will attend weekly management meetings and chair when the general manager is absent. You will also work with the sales team to review rooms business levels, forecasting, and manage yield effectively. Control and analyze departmental costs with heads of departments. To excel in this role, you will require experience in hotel operations and hospitality management. Strong communication and leadership skills are essential, as well as the ability to work under pressure and make decisions quickly.
