HR Generalist Opportunity


About the Role

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team. This is a proactive role that requires a strong understanding of HR policies and procedures, as well as excellent communication skills.


Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and deliver HR policies and procedures across various departments.
  • Assist with recruitment, talent development, diversity, equity, inclusion, benefits, and general HR activities.
  • Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct training sessions, manage training records, and ensure matrices are up-to-date.
  • Support supervisors and managers with employee relations, report health and safety issues, and promote a safe company culture.
  • Manage payroll, complete management information reporting, and support the Talent Acquisition team with open roles.
  • Additional duties may be assigned.

Requirements
  • Minimum 2-4 years in training and HR role in a manufacturing unionized environment.
  • HR Qualification/CIPD Qualified.
  • Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Suite, Workday, Core is advantageous.
  • Experience working with multiple stakeholders and senior leadership teams.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
