Business Development Manager
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Branch Manager to lead our retail mortgage branch. The successful candidate will drive business performance, manage a high-performing team, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain full compliance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring achievement of sales and service targets.
- Provide strong leadership, coaching, and motivation to the team to maximise performance and professional development.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships, offering expert mortgage advice and tailored solutions.
- Ensure full compliance with banking, mortgage, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyse market trends and identify opportunities to grow the mortgage portfolio.
- Prepare and deliver regular performance reports.
- Oversee operational efficiency, resource planning, and cost control.
- 5+ years' management experience within banking or mortgage services.
- Qualified Financial Adviser (QFA) qualification is essential.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and service targets.
- Strong understanding of mortgage products and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Commercial awareness and business acumen.
