Job Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a Civils Estimator to join our team. As a Civils Estimator, you will be responsible for the production of estimates for a range of civil engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analysis of engineering drawings and preparation of sub-contractor and supplier enquiries and contract documents
  • Liaison with clients, sub-contractors and suppliers, as well as sub-consultants and in-house engineering design teams
  • Assessment of different options and solutions, including material take-offs and estimation experience in utilities and infrastructure
  • Attending pre and post tender meetings/presentations and managing relationships with project managers and client teams
Requirements
  • A degree in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying, with 10 years construction management experience and estimating experience in utilities and infrastructure
  • Good knowledge of civil engineering contracts, relevant legislation and standards, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage inputs from a range of specialist suppliers and in-house staff, with good interpersonal and team-working skills
  • Results-oriented and able to work under pressure, with a full clean driving licence and authorisation to work in Ireland
