Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled FMC&G Merchandising Specialist to join our team at Reliance Talent Solutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience in sales or merchandising within the FMCG industry, preferably in food, and possess excellent oral and written English language skills.

You will be responsible for establishing effective customer relationships, growing and developing new business, and ensuring adequate supplies of stock are always available.

In this role, you will also be required to check stock ordered and load the van every morning, liaise with depot management on sales opportunities, and control "Sale or Return" and other non-sales items within agreed limits.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish effective customer relationships by providing an efficient and reliable service
  • Grow and develop new business
  • Ensure that adequate supplies of stock are always available
  • Check stock ordered and load the van every morning
  • Liaise with depot management on sales opportunities
  • Control "Sale or Return" and other non-sales items within agreed limits
  • Account for all money and stock in your possession
  • Maintain the company van in a clean, tidy and road-worthy condition

Requirements:

  • Experience in sales or merchandising in the FMCG industry preferably food
  • Excellent oral and written English language skills
  • Experience with hand-held technology
  • A full clean driver's license
  • Must be flexible around working times 4am -6am start times
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Strong focus on providing excellent customer service
