Electro Mechanical Engineer Role Overview

This Electro Mechanical Engineer role is an exciting opportunity to join a respected company as they continue to grow and meet the demands of their clients. As a key member of the team, you will be based at our Dublin Workshop, with travel to customer sites across the country required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of commercial bakery equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide professional service, developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers, subcontractors, and colleagues.
  • Respond promptly to reactive service calls, planned maintenance, and installation requests to minimize downtime.
  • Work closely with the Service Manager and team to meet customer expectations and deliver efficient solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve machine issues using technical knowledge and experience.
  • Evaluate problems and provide effective solutions.

Maintain high standards of workmanship while working in accordance with health and safety regulations, technical requirements, and guidelines. Maintain accurate records and complete job paperwork on time.

We offer full training for this role, so industry-specific experience is not required. We are looking for candidates who can work independently, take initiative, and have a strong commitment to completing tasks efficiently at required times and locations.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar field service role.
  • Proven experience in electro-mechanical maintenance and diagnostics of machinery.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
