Job Title: Debt Capital Markets Specialist

Description:

A renowned Dublin-based law firm is seeking a skilled Debt Capital Markets Lawyer to join their thriving team. This esteemed firm boasts an extensive debt capital markets practice, recognised for its expertise in complex international mandates.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 4+ years' PQE, gained either in a corporate law firm or in-house company, with proven experience working on debt capital markets transactions. They will possess strong technical skills in areas such as loan portfolio disposals, securitisations, CLOs, Eurobond issuances, structured debt, green bond and high-yield debt issuances, and regulatory capital issuances.

Familiarity with regulations like the Securitisation Regulation, Market Abuse Regulation, Transparency Directive, and Prospectus Regulation will be highly advantageous. The ideal candidate will have excellent academic credentials, strong analytical and drafting skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to manage competing demands and deadlines while working both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Working on debt capital markets transactions, including loan portfolio disposals and securitisations.
  • Providing technical expertise in areas such as CLOs, Eurobond issuances, structured debt, and green bond and high-yield debt issuances.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of legal strategies to meet business objectives.
  • Maintaining knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation, including the Securitisation Regulation, Market Abuse Regulation, Transparency Directive, and Prospectus Regulation.
