Capital Markets Lawyer Role

This is an exciting opportunity to secure a position with one of Ireland's leading law firms in the Capital Markets – Debt division.

The debt capital markets team is a significant player in the Irish market, led by highly experienced partners and renowned for their work on complex international mandates.

We are seeking an accomplished Debt Capital Markets Lawyer with a minimum of 4+ years' PQE to join our collaborative team and contribute to our continued success.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Management of loan portfolio disposals
  • Securitisation advisory services, including residential mortgage-backed, non-performing loan, and synthetic securitisations
  • CLOs, Eurobond issuances, and structured debt solutions
  • Green bond and high-yield debt issuance advice
  • Regulatory capital issuances and financial market infrastructure guidance

Familiarity with key regulations such as the Securitisation Regulation, Market Abuse Regulation, Transparency Directive, and Prospectus Regulation will be highly advantageous.

Requirements:

  • A qualified debt capital markets lawyer with at least 4 years' PQE
  • Strong technical expertise in areas such as loan portfolio management, securitisations, CLOs, Eurobond issuances, and green bond and high-yield debt solutions
  • Excellent academic credentials
  • Strong analytical and drafting skills
  • Commercial awareness
  • Able to manage competing demands and deadlines while working both independently and within a team
