The role of a Project Engineer involves supporting the Capital Projects Manager in delivering engineering projects safely and efficiently. This includes managing capital equipment procurement and facility modification projects, coordinating design, construction, and C&Q activities, and overseeing contractor/vendor performance to ensure safety compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Lead complex project initiatives from inception to completion.
  • Manage cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Develop and implement effective project management strategies.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in engineering project delivery, preferably in biotech/pharma industries.
  • Proven track record of managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of commissioning, qualification, and change control processes.
  • Familiarity with safety systems of work and vendor supervision.
  • Excellent planning, communication, and leadership skills.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP) is an asset.
