Project Lead - Pharmaceutical Operations

We are seeking an experienced Project Lead to join our team and lead cross-functional projects within the site's overall project portfolio. These may include process improvement initiatives, implementation of new systems, and New Product Introduction (NPI) projects within our Drug Product specialization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage selected projects to ensure alignment with business objectives and best practices in project governance.
  • Lead / Support rapid improvement projects through the application of the most appropriate project execution methodology for the given business challenge.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure project execution is to plan.
  • Address issues promptly and escalate risks in a timely manner to the appropriate stakeholders.
  • Work with project sponsors at initiation to ensure the project scope is fully defined and understood.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years industry experience with at least 4 of those years working in a Project Management role.
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience.
  • Experienced in the application of project execution methodologies, such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.
  • Experienced in leading cross functional matrix project teams.
  • Proficiency in the use of project management tools / software.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Science or related field.
  • Experience in MPS/Operational Excellence – Green belt.

Desirable:

  • Experience in a Vaccines, Biologics or Sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Project management qualifications (e.g. PMP certification).

Candidates must have either EU citizenship or a Stamp 4 in Ireland to be eligible for this role.
