
Community Outreach Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Referral Officer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with schools, colleges, and training providers to identify suitable referrals for our programs.
Your primary focus will be on developing and implementing effective recruitment strategies to meet the needs of our delivery areas and sites. This will involve planning and executing yearly recruitment campaigns, ensuring high-quality induction processes for participants, and conducting regular Outcome Star reviews.
You will also provide person-centered support to participants, helping them achieve their goals and progress into further programs or job opportunities. Additionally, you will work closely with employers to secure work placement opportunities and develop strong working relationships with statutory agencies and local community networks.
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the achievement of targets within our Organisational Scorecard and strategic objectives. You will also play a vital role in promoting our brand and sharing our story through social media engagement, attending events, and using marketing materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A full current driving licence and access to a car (alternative travelling proposals considered for applicants with a disability).
- Ability to be flexible and adaptable - hours may involve evening and weekend work as required.
- Minimum level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
- Minimum of one year's paid experience of working with participants with learning disabilities/difficulties, assisting young people in training, or liaising with employers.
- Minimum of one year's paid experience in building local networks and sourcing referrals for programs.
- Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication skills and public speaking/presentation skills.
