Aircraft Engine Technician Vacancy

Vortex Aviation is a leading global provider of Turbine Engine Support services. Our team of experts delivers 24/7 AOG support across Europe and neighboring countries from our European base in Shannon, Ireland.

This position requires the maintenance and repair of Aircraft engines at our facility in Shannon and on-field service. Reporting to the workshop manager, duties include ensuring customer requirements are met in terms of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on Aircraft engines according to industry regulations
  • Collaborate with colleagues to guarantee excellent quality and customer satisfaction
  • Complete task cards for accurate record-keeping
  • Maintain equipment and report any issues or defects
  • Support field service operations as needed
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate proficiency in English language skills
  • Hold a recognized Technical Apprenticeship with post-apprenticeship experience in Aviation Maintenance
  • Prior experience working with PW, GE, or CFM engines advantageous
  • Familiarity with ATA 100 Maintenance Manuals beneficial
  • Demonstrate commitment to Perfect Delivery and Quality objectives
  • Ability to travel for field service assignments
  • Previous borescope or A&P license experience an asset
