Job Title: Data Privacy Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support core privacy compliance operations, assisting the Data Protection Officer with implementing the privacy program.
  • Inform and advise on obligations under global privacy laws, ensuring compliance.

  • Handle requests regarding personal data and exercise of rights.
  • Support management of supervisory authority requests.
  • Maintain records of processing activities and purposes.

  • Monitor effectiveness of privacy controls and data technologies.
  • Assess legal and regulatory changes impacting privacy.
  • Act as contact for auditors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of global data protection laws, including GDPR and privacy requirements in financial services.
  • 8+ years experience in privacy compliance or related functions, managing risk assessments.
  • Experience advising stakeholders on privacy issues.
  • Degree in law, data protection, business, security, or related field preferred; professional certifications like CIPP/E, CIPM preferred.
  • Understanding of AI, privacy-enhancing technologies, security concepts, and data protection obligations.
  • Knowledge of contractual arrangements and data transfer agreements.
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to translate business needs into solutions.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Understanding of privacy by design and data ethics principles.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
